Richard Vickery passed away on July 8, 2016 his 61st birthday, a veteran of the United States Air Force where he was a Military Police. Richard worked for the Montgomery County Board of Education HVAC Maintenance for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellison B. Vickery and Mary Vesey Vickery.
He is survived by his siblings, Ellison B. (Suzanne) Vickery Jr., Ruth Vickery Lambert, James R. Vickery, and Peggy Vickery (Bob) Bedsole.
Pallbearers to include: Ellison B. Vickery Jr., Russell Bedsole, Brendt Bedsole, Phillip Bedsole, Alan Owens, and Jim Redding; Honorary Pallbearers, James Vickery and Bob Bedsole.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org).
Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at River City Church in Montgomery, Alabama from 12:00pm-1:00pm, with a service following at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
