Ricki Lamar Smith

Rick began his career as a draftsman in architecture. He was a jack of all trades, he loved big construction equipment, loved to bass fish and begin on the water and had a true love with cars. Rick was a wonderful dad, son, and grandfather. He loved his two Maltese puppies Rick and Bubba dearly. He was a very Godly, selfless man and would constantly put others’ needs before his own.He was preceded in death by his father Charles Pritchett and his sister Debra Smith.He is survived by his mother Edith Pritchett, his daughter Meribeth Blackwell (Tab), his three grandchildren Riley, Grayden, and Lilly Blackwell and also his girlfriend Pat Jenkins.

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors who worked tirelessly in the cardiac ICU at Baptist South.

A visitation for Ricki will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
