Rilzia Livingston Rodgers, age 86 passed away at her home Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Rodgers. She is survived by a daughter, Edith (Dale) Mangrum; a son, Charles (Debe) Rodgers; a sister, Duane Walker; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Leak Memory Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Paul Turner and Reverend John Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Brett Weldon, Jamie Blackwell, Baker Weldon, Oswald Knight, Dale Mangrum and Tommy Danford. Honorary Pallbearers are Rose Martin, Jeannie Scroggins, Jessie McGhee and Amedisys Hospice Services. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Donations can be made to Boylston Methodist Church or Amedisys Hospice Services, 8160 Decker Lane, Montgomery, Al 36117.
