"Rob" Boyd

"Rob" Bobby Boyd Jr., age 58, of Pike Road, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022. Rob was born March 2, 1964 to Bobby Boyd Sr. and Willie Virginia Higgins Boyd in Meridian, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kathy Susan Boyd. Mr. Boyd is survived by his former spouse, Kim (Jack) Ellison; his step father, Melvin Harper; his son, Blaine Boyd; his daughter, Sloan Boyd; his siblings, Glenda (Mike) Reeves and Diane Franklin; many nieces and nephews; and his grand dog, Franklin "Bub Bub" Boyd, also known as Paw Paw's "buddy."

A graduate of Lee High School, he grew up in Montgomery. Rob will be remembered as a "Mr. Fix It," a handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed shooting pool and hunting/fishing. Rob was well rounded in his interests and loved his friends and family with a heart of gold.

A celebration of life gathering for Rob will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
