Robert Warner Boyd

Robert Warner Boyd, 82, of Sprague, Alabama, passed away on November 27, 2018. He was a deacon at Snowdoun Baptist Church. Warner was preceded in death by his parents, Dempsey D. Boyd and Ruth Armstrong Boyd; siblings, Minnie Lou Berry, David Boyd, Ann Shaw, Ruth Preble and Clower Boyd. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Motes Boyd; daughter, Deborah Boyd Partridge (Gary) of Vestavia Hills, AL; son, Robert Warner Boyd, Jr. (Mickey Ann) of Sprague, AL; grandchildren, Boyd Thomas Partridge, Brett Folmar Partridge, Haley Boyd King (Branon), and Kirsten Elizabeth Boyd; great-grandsons Colton Warner Partridge, Hudson King and Joseph Warner King; and sisters Ethleen Bazzell and Sue Drake. A Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00PM at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Steve Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30PM – 2:00PM prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Snowdoun. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice and a special thanks to Erica Davis and Valtoria Jackson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Warner’s favorite charity, Shriners Hospitals for Children.
