Robert Vernon Mullen Jr. was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 28, 2013. His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at White Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Cassity of Ridgecrest Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years Ruth Gordon Mullen and a sister Louise C. Yates. Bob is survived by three sons Robert V. Mullen III, Michael G. Mullen Sr. and David L. (Mikiyo) Mullen and Grandchildren who called him Daddy Bob; Scott Mullen, Matthew (Amee) Mullen, Stacey (Sam) Cohen, Michael (Jessa) Mullen Jr., Maya Mullen, Kai Mullen, and Great Grandchildren; Travis Mullen, Alexis Cohen, Sophia Cohen, Cooper Mullen, Payton Ann Mullen. The family wishes to express it’s gratitude to those friends of the family who selflessly attended to Bob’s many needs.
