Robert Stephen Trammell died on Tuesday, October 13 at age 58. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Joan, and brother Walter. He is survived by his brother, Millard; his sister, Anita; his ex-wife Amy; his mother-in-law, Betty ‘Nana’ Eskridge; his children, Bryan, Beth Ann, Bradley and Blake; and his grandchild, Oliver. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alabama Wildlife Federation or Children’s Hospital’s Committed to a Cure fund.
Robert -- the youngest of four -- was born in Elmore county and grew up in Montgomery. He married Amy Eskridge, and as his family quickly grew he worked as a hydraulic mechanic. Robert went on to establish his own company, Central Alabama Fluid Power, Inc., which he grew into a thriving business, eventually seeing Robert as the sole proprietor.
He was known for his sense of humor and no-nonsense attitude. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting and being with his dog, Baby. Robert loved his children and his grandchild dearly.
