Robert Earl Wadsworth

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Putnal Wadsworth and his parents, Webber Eugene Brakefield and Mary Madeline Cooper Brakefield.

He is survived by his son, Robert Matthew Wadsworth, daughter, Kimberly Dawn Wadsworth of Atlanta, Georgia, stepchildren, Cindy Hart, Clynt (Susan) Hart, Craig (Randy) Hart, granddaughters, Erin Grace Wadsworth and Maggie Rose Wadsworth and step grandchildren, Patrick Heflin, Elizabeth (Thomas) West, Katherine Hart, Ethan Hart, Avery Hart, Colin Hart and step greatgrandchildren, Perry and Shepherd West.

Mr. Wadsworth was a member of First Baptist Church Montgomery. He served in the Air Force Reserve after high school and technical school. He had a long career with IBM and retired after 35 years. He loved camping, hunting, scuba diving and competitive shooting.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11 am at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama.
