Ronald Lee Capel, long time resident of Montgomery, Alabama, went home to his Lord on October 29, 2025. He was born on April 5, 1932, in Clayton, Alabama. He received a graduate degree in Agricultural Education for Auburn University. A retired vocational agricultural teacher, he taught in Dothan and Montgomery School systems for 40+ years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Capel; his mother, Sara Ingram; and his beloved aunt and uncle, Pauline Capel Green and Phil Green.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pearl Smith Capel and his two daughters, Susan Pauline Capel and Alison Lee Jones.

A celebration of life memorial service for Ronald at Leak Memory Chapel will be held on November 11, 2025 at 11:00 am, with a friends and family gathering at 10:30 am.
