Rose Marie Land

Rose Marie (Markham) Land has received her angel wings at the age of 90. Born in Montgomery, Alabama to Gladys and Joseph Markham, she resided in Bluff Park, (Hoover) AL since 1964. A loving wife and mother, she is survived by all four children, Pamela J. Land Peck (Robert), Carol L. Land, Kenneth R. Land Jr. (Linda), and Michael D. Land (Dona); eight grandchildren, Kristen Peck Shultz (Phillip), Kara Peck, Kimberly Peck, Paden L. Habshey, Dustin R. Land (Abbey), Daniel R. Land (Brittany), David Land, and Candice Bush (Jamie); as well as eight great grandchildren, Paisley, Powell, Eli, Drew, Evey Jane, Avery, Hudson, and Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews and family members.

Mrs. Land was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Land; her parents, Gladys Williamson and Joseph Markham; and her siblings, Carolyn Shoults, Sonny and Robert Markham.

A friends and family graveside for Rose Marie will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109 with a processional forming at Leak Memory Chapel at 9:45 am with Rev. Eric Hogstrom officiating.

Pall bearers will be Mike Land, Ken Land, Daniel Land, Dustin Land, Paden Habshey and David Land.
