Roy Edward Houser, 80, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Hoyt Chastain, Sr. and Pastor Mike Northcutt officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Nell Stanley Houser and two brothers, Walter and Belton Houser. Survivors include his two daughters, Linda Houser Truitt & Lisa Houser Davis (Don) both of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Sarah McGough, brother, Thomas Houser; four grandchildren, Mark Hall (Kelly), Matthew Hall (Liz), Tiffany Ashmore (Tyler), and Brooke Davis, and four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kaelyn, McKenna, and Colton. Pallbearers will be Mark Hall, Matthew Hall, Tyler Ashmore, Don Davis, Terry Houser, and Tommy Dawson. Arrangements under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, AL.
