Ruby Jo Isaac, 87, of Montgomery, Alabama died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel Jefferson Phillips and Ellen Fleming Phillips and her daughter, Julie Ellen Isaac. Survivors include her daughters, Becky Shearman (Chris) of Pensacola, FL, Debbie Mathis (Peyton) of Montgomery, AL and Cindy Beaman of Hernando, MS. Grandchildren: Peyton Mathis IV, Jeff Mathis, Chris Shearman II, Leigh Weaver, David Shearman, Charles Shearman and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, AL. Reverend Rosa Lindahl will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will welcome friends at Ms. Isaac’s home following the service.
