Rudy Martin, 82, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2014 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 770 S. Court St., with funeral services beginning at 2:00PM. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Martin is survived by his favorite pet chihuahua, Buddy; his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, LaVern Martin; four sons, Tim, David (Peggy), Charlie (Debbie), and Joe; brothers and sisters, Kathleen Wilson, Joyce White, Jimmy Alford, Winnie Suit, and Billy Burnham; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Welfare Fund at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 770 S. Court St., Montgomery, AL, in memory of Rudy Martin.
