Ruth Marie Hayes

Ruth Marie Hayes, age 75 of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victoria Shephard and Robert Lee Marshburn; brother, James Marshburn; her father-in-law, Thomas F. Hayes; brothers-in-law, Tom Bruno and Turley Gould; and two nieces and nephews. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Eddie Hayes; children, Carol Jean Rikard and Denise Carlson, Karen Marie Rikard and John Wayne Marple; stepdaughter, Windy “Angel” Lynn Hayes and Collin McAllister; grandchildren, Levi Ratliff, Teahna Ratliff, Tianne Ratliff, Dakota Ratliff, Anthony Dean, Cheyenne Dean; great-grandchild, Breanna Lynn Patton; sisters, Dorothy Bruno, Faye Gould, Velma Smith, Flora Raynor, Ruby Doyle, Mary Lofton, Vickie Harrington; brothers-in-law, Gattis Smith, Billy Raynor, Sam Doyle, Pete Lofton, Terry Harrington, Frankie G. Hayes; sister-in-law, Ellene and Russell Ray; mother-in-law, Dorothy Hayes; and 25 nieces and nephews. The visitation will held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Leak Memory Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 21, 2017 at Capital City Church of the Nazarene, 4450 Vaughn Rd., Montgomery, AL 36106, with Pastor Blake Mohling officiating. The family will also be accepting friends at 1:00 PM, prior to the service. The burial will be held at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery.
