Ruth Lee Smith, age 92 of Prattville, AL, died Monday, February 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berry C. Smith; and one grandchild. Survivors include her children, Shirley (Doug) McDonald, Larry (Lynda) Smith, Wayne (Dianne) Smith, Pete (Linda) Smith; 17 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver, Linda Morgan; and a host of other family members and friends. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Leak Memory Chapel with Minister Luther Pratt officiating. The burial will follow at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. The family will begin to accept friends at 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Leak Memory Chapel is directing.
