Sally Jo Carswell, age 68, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Sally was born in Greenville, Alabama to Ernest Earl Ballard and Margaret Mavis Ballard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandchild, Keith Allen Henderson; her daughter, Jackie Henderson; and her siblings, Steve Ballard, David Ballard, Jamie Ballard, Ann Sanchez, and Ernestine Rynolds.
Sally is survived by her husband, James Ray Carswell; her children, Joann McCray, Carol (David) Tucker of Eclectic, Paul Carswell of Elmore, Lynn Singleton of Tallassee, and Amber (Ryan) Moore of Tallassee. Mrs. Carswell leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A memorial service to celebrate her life is set for January 14, 2023 at 11:00 am at Trinity Assembly of God in Montgomery, Alabama.
