Samuel Floyd Defee, 78, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery with Minister Nick Edwards officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at White Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday. Mr. Defee was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Defee; and great-granddaughter, Crissy Lock. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly H. Defee; sons, David Defee, Ronnie Defee; daughter, Leeanne Defee; three stepdaughters, Debra Hudson, Kathy Cleckler, Denise Cobb; three sisters, Claudia D. Senn, Caroline Mount, Betty Morrison; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and best companion, his poodle Rachel. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Defee, Wesley Defee, Steven Defee, Bobby Vogel, Brandon Cobb and Jeremy Logan.
