Sandra (Sandy) Renee Crowder, 55, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Sandy was born on October 18, 1963 in Montgomery, Alabama. She is survived by her parents Gene Crowder (Lowndesboro, AL) and Kathy Crowder (Prattville, AL), brother, Bill (Kim) Crowder (Hope Hull, AL), daughter Katryn (Josh) Farris (Wetumpka), and son Will Moore (Auburn, AL). She also leaves behind two precious grandchildren which she adored Kynzleigh Anne and Bennett Michael (Wetumpka, AL). Also left to cherish her memory are nephews Brick (Allison) Crowder (Hugo, NC) and Conner Crowder (Oxford, MS), niece Jernigan Crowder (Hope Hull, AL), aunts Marsha (Gene) Lewis, Maggie Crowder (Montgomery, AL), Patricia Ann Jernigan (Colombus, GA), several cousins, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. Sandy graduated from Lowndes Academy in 1981. She then worked for the State of Alabama Department of Transportation for many years. Sandy was a member of Catoma Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. She was a resident of Prattville, AL at the time of her passing. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at 2:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL with graveside following at Memorial Heights. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service ( 1:00-2:00pm). Sandy fought the great fight with courage and dignity. She has earned her wings and is at peace in the arms of Jesus.
