Sandra Jean Weber

Sandra Jean Weber, 70, of Montgomery Alabama, died September 26, 2015, at her residence after a long valent 21 year battle with Breast Cancer. She is survived by her brother, Robert Sycks Weber, (Melody), of Pensacola Florida, and 3 nieces. Ms. Weber ran the Mycology Lab for the State of Alabama Public Health for 47 years; she was an avid tennis player and a horse woman, and a key motivator in her brother’s life. She contributed to many animal rescue organizations and the Montgomery Humane Society. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 12:00pm til 2:00 pm in the Ascension Hall, with services at 2:00 at The Church of the Ascension, 315 Clanton Avenue, Montgomery Al, with burial to follow at Greenwood-Serenity Cemetery. With Rev. Mark E. Waldo Jr. officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Montgomery Humane Society. I just found out! Sandy was a wonderful woman and dear friend. She was my go to person for any mycology issues at my work. I will miss you so much. I know so many animals ran to greet you! My prayers for Sandy's family.
