Sarah Lynn Martin

MARTIN, LYNN McGEE passed away on September 14th, 2024 following a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Ethlyn Lawley McGee, her father, Crit Houston McGee, two older sisters and three older brothers. Lynn was born on March 23rd, 1954 and was raised in Centreville, Alabama.

After graduating from Bibb County High School, she married the love of her life, Bob Martin, on May 26th, 1973. They moved to Montgomery, Alabama shortly after. Lynn is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bob (R.C.) Martin; daughter Tori Blair (Michael) of Holtville, AL; son Davis Martin (Susanna) of Madisonville, TN; grandsons Ben and Evan Blair; granddaughters Sadie and Avery Martin; brother Joe Ed McGee; sisters Maurine Ratliff, Brenda Reid, and Jan Fountain; and dozens of nieces and nephews. Lynn’s faith and love for the Lord was unfailing and shone through in everything she did.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Lynn to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or NAMI.
