Mrs. Sarah Nell Meeks, 85, who resided in Prattville, Al., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 9, 2016 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents; Rufus and Florence Ewing, husband; Roy A. Meeks, a daughter; Dianne T. Boyd and a son; Michael W. Weeks. She is survived by her three grandchildren; Michael Cox, Renae M. Williams and Jeff Boyd, nine great-grandkids; Hunter Cox, Chase Williams, Jake Williams, Austin Cox, Jacob Boyd, Jordan Boyd, Conner Cox and Tiffany and Bailee Cox. Mrs. Meeks was a strong, loving , caring person who loved God and her family. She was a nurturer and provider for anyone in need. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life Graveside Service to be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jacob Boyd, Chase Williams, Jake Williams, Dale Meeks, Bobby Swindle and Mike Swindle.
