MITCHELL, Saydie Elizabeth, was called to the House of the Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2021 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death in 2002 by her husband, John Wesley Mitchell, but loved and remained devoted to him until the day that she was called Home. She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Mitchell Callahan; three grandsons, Wesley Alexander Mitchell (Courtney Elizabeth Huey), Brandon Lee Mitchell, Jarrod Ryan Castleberry; two great-granddaughters, Autumn Elizabeth Mitchell and Winter Jade Mitchell. A celebration of life service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Shawn Merithew officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 10:00 a.m.
