Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Roy Lund; mother, Bobbie Lund; and granddaughter, Jennifer Rose Crysel. She is survived by her children, Jerry Oppenlander and Jo Ann Crysel (Jack); grandchildren, Joey Crysel, Jerry Oppenlander Jr., and Phillip Oppenlander; as well as great-grandchildren, Michelle Oppenlander, Taylor Oppenlander, and Mason Oppenlander.
Sharon was known to love the Lord and expressed her faith with her activeness in her church. When she was not in church she filled her time with reading and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She was an animal lover, especially for dogs. Her family loves her just as much as she loved them and she will be dearly missed.
A graveside service for Sharon will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Gardens, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.
The family asks for donations in honor Sharon to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
