Sondra Nemnich

Nemnich, Sondra Joan, 64, of Montgomery, a devoted wife and mother, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Noland Hospital after suffering complications from a heart attack. She was born in Los Angeles, CA on March 20, 1945, but was raised in Ogden, Utah by her loving mother, Thelma “Peggie” Erwin, deceased, and wonderful stepfather R. H. Erwin of Utah. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Gary Nemnich, and their five children: Melodie(John) Segrest, Douglasville, GA, Gary Todd (Laurie) Nemnich, Hemet, CA, Marci (David) Hayward, Montgomery, AL, Tim (Jessica) Nemnich, Ozark, AL, Peggie (Joe)Trudeau, Montgomery, AL, 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The number of neighborhood children she “adopted” throughout her life are too numerous to mention, but stand as a legacy to the love she had for children. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in whatever capacity the Lord called her to do. The family will be receiving visitors at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
