Stephanie Ann Perez

Stephanie Ann Perez passed away on March 6, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones at UAB hospital. She fought a courageous battle with lung cancer for over 12 years, which is highly unlikely and represents her strength of spirit and lust for life. She will be remembered for her boundless creativity, compassionate heart, resilience and fun-loving nature. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, creating art and being the unifyng matriarch of her family. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years (Hector), sister (Wanda), children (Jason and Jill), grandchildren (Margot and Emory), and cats (Pluto and Neptune.) A memorial service will be held for Stephanie on March 18 at Leak Memorial Chapel from 10 am - 12 pm. We would love to have you join us to honor her memory and celebrate the impact her life had on this Earth. Please feel free to wear bright colors to honor her sunny disposition.
