Stephen Anthony “Tony” Coggins, 45, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2018. He is preceded in death by his brother James (Jimmie) R. Coggins, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Janelle Covey Coggins; children, Kathryn Coggins Babin (23), and her husband Keith Babin, Joshua Coggins (17), Charlotte Coggins (8), and John Anthony Coggins (9 months); his father, James (Randy) Coggins, Sr. and his step mother Carol Coggins; mother Patricia Patterson; grandson, Kaiden Babin and multiple brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
Tony grew up in Atlanta, GA and moved to Montgomery with his wife and children in 2009. He was loved by many in the community for his work with the Neighborhood Watch Group. He was also a loving and giving man who will be missed by many.
A visitation for Tony will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 at Leak Memory Chapel from 5-7 PM with a Memorial Service at a later date.
