Mr. Stephen Self Day, 62, who resided in Montgomery, AL., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Mr. Day is preceded in death by his father; Harlin Day, a brother; Butch Day, a mother-in-law; Beulah Crittenden, and two sister-in-laws; Lynda Boone and Vicki Carson. He was also preceded in death by his two lovely dogs; Zoe and Sissy. Mr. Day is survived by his mother; Betty Day and his wife; Shirley Day, a daughter; Jade House, two brothers; Buster Day and Mike Day; a sister; Teresa Hunter , a brother-in-law; Marvin Deal and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Day loved NASCAR Racing, Alabama football, golf and watching television. Mr. Day was a veteran of the United States Army. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of White Chapel- Greenwood Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 pm. A committal service will be held immediately after the Celebration of Life with military honors in Greenwood Cemetery. Minister Mike Cobb will be officiating.
