Surerat Kern “June” Godwin, 57, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Doug Godwin; mother, Pensri Kern; brother, Weelapan “TooTo” Kern; son, Jimmy Marquardt; daughters, Rosanna Brown, Abby Thompson, Julie Armenta; step daughter, Kimberly Hart, and stepson, Daniel Godwin; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Leak Memory Chapel, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel, burial will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Family asks that all guest please dress casual as per Mrs. Godwin’s wishes.
