Susie Stough Davis

Susie Stough Davis, age 88 and resident of Montgomery, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 after an extended illness. She was one of five children born to Daniel Carwell and Verla Davis Stough of Highland HOme, AL. She graduated from Highland Home High School in 1946 and was employed by several Montgomery hospitals and Alabama gas during her work career. Survivors include one son, James C. Nixon of Palm Springs, CA and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Highland Home at 11AM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 with Minister Dean Kelly, Highland Home Church of Christ, officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 5PM to 7PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd. in Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Childhaven, P.O. Box 2070, Cullman, AL 35056.
