She was also preceded in death by her Grandparents Lee Betterton and Paralee Hall Betterton and Uncle Jimmie Lee Betterton. She was my first cousin. We may not have had contact in life like it should have been. But that's the directions life went. There will always be some regret there. She was a part of my young life. She gave me piano lesson as a young girl told my mother I was really good at it. She took me ,sue and Jennifer into her home babysitting on times my mother was placed in hospital. I use to spend the night with Charles all time. He was my friend so much fun. Then one day he was gone and no one explained why to me and would not allow me to go to the funeral. Sylvia and Leonard had a pet Skunk that the stinker was removed from. It just hung around like a puppy. Her and Aunt Clara Mae always bought me this god awful white underwear for Christmas lol. Then there was Frank with his road runner car. Beep Beep.. I remember Her ,Frank, Uncle Cody playing there band in Aunt Clara Mae front living room and singing Last time I was home maybe 2005 we just sat and talk with Dot in the living room.Oh the Pomegranate in Aunt Clara yard. Those ugly curly hair cuts. I loved each one of them. Charles and I learned to ride a bike together with no traning wheels on the same day on that road in front of there houses. Yesterday I shed some tears just thinking and remember, She was a wonderful person and she walked thru all the deaths before her. I also remeber just barley when Melaine got sick.. God new she needed Melaine. Hopefully I will get to see all them someday... Loves n Hugs Bonnie Betterton
