Terry Dale Morgan

MORGAN, Terry Dale 72, a longtime resident of Montgomery, passed away January 9, 2026, after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sol Morgan and Marilyn Conner, his son Preston Eli Morgan, and son-in-law Eddie Green. Terry was the oldest of seven brothers born to Sol and Marilyn: Jerry (his twin), Ron, Sol James, Darryl, Kenny, and Jonny. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Morgan, his daughters Stacy Green and Kim (Adam) Stephenson. He was known as “Paw-Paw Terry” by his 8 grandchildren: Emily (Matt) Crocetto, Rachel Stephenson, Nicholas Stephenson, Drew Stephenson, Nathan Green, Kira Green, Traeh Morgan and Alex Morgan. He was also uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Terry was born in Marfa, TX on October 28, 1953. He was a faithful member of Redland Road Church of Christ and a devoted Christian. Terry was an audio engineer and an accomplished musician. He and his brother Jerry started MGS Studios, a successful recording studio they ran for nearly 30 years before retiring in 2009.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Redland Road Church of Christ or to the Montgomery Cancer Center. Visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow beginning at 11:00. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with David Phillips officiating.
