

Thelma Ready Crossley passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the age of 91. She was a loving caretaker of her mother, father, daughter, and son-in-law. She was a faithful member of Frazer UMC and a member of the Roy Cox Sunday School Class and The Elsie Cox Mission Group. Thelma was a caring, compassionate person who loved helping others. She was the prior owner of United Lighting Company and was a member of the Soroptimist Club in Montgomery. Thelma loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Ready & Grace Hixon; her daughter, Linda Sue Crossley; and her sisters-in-law, Mabel and Margie. Survivors include her children, Jimmy Crossley, Deborah MacDonnell (James), Tricia Hakker (Martin); grandchildren, Cody Crossley, Kristine Gonzalez (Michael), Amanda MacDonnell, J. Aaron MacDonnell (Gift), Lauren Beneway (Justin), Justin Hakker, Ken Livingston, Cindi Maloy (Eric), Lindsay Livingston; and great grandchildren, Braeden, Jack, James, Timothy, and Logan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Leak Memory Chapel at 11:00am with a chapel service at noon with Rev. Neil Epler officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend a word of gratitude to the staff of Crowne Health for allowing them to say farewell to their beloved mother.
