Thelma Hall Sloan

Thelma Hall Sloan “Sister,”88 of Montgomery passed on June 28, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul Allen Sloan Sr., a grandson; Lance Sloan Cooper, 2 brothers; Thomas Hall, and Tranum Hall, and 1 sister; Willie Light. She is survived by her children; Paul Allen Sloan Jr., Susan Sloan Rembert (Ross), Nora “Toni” Sloan Cooper (Al Campbell), Daniel Lee Sloan ( Marrianne). 3 grandchildren; Paul Allen Sloan III (Rose), Daniel Jacob Sloan, John Paul Sloan, 2 great- grandchildren; Kathrine Ruby Sloan and Wesley Allen Sloan, 3 sisters; Annie Martin, Mary Jo Young, and Nancy McSwain, 3 brothers; John Hall, Benjamin Hall (Janelle),Wayne Hall,1 sister-in-law Betty Hall and many nieces and nephews.

She was lifelong dedicated to her family with an unconditional love for children. She was a loyal employee of Richardson’s Pharmacy for 30 years.

The Family wishes to thank Nettie Edwards, Chantay Scott, and Odessa Wilson for their dedication and compassionate care, and Amedisys Hospice for their guidance and care.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, from 1:30pm till 2:30pm at Leak Memory Chapel, with a Chapel service at 2:30pm, officiated by Chaplain Ron Beckham. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at Leak-mc.com.
