Mr. Thomas Ray Morgan, 81, who resided in Prattville, Al., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Bill Nickol's Veterans Home located in Alexander City, Al. He is preceded in death by his parents; James Washington Morgan and Eva Thomas and a son; Thomas Roy Morgan. He is survived by his wife; Jane Morgan and his children; Chris and Brenda Morgan and a daughter-in-law; Tanya Morgan. He is also survived by two brothers; James Washington Morgan Jr. and Marvin Morgan, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Morgan was a very caring and devoted husband and was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved gospel music especially the song, Beulah Land and The King is Coming. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with a public visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Gilbert Schellin will be officiating. A committal service with military honors will follow the Celebration of Life Service immediately in Greenwood Cemetery.
