Thomas L. Thaggard “Tommy” passed away Tuesday morning, December 29, 2015 at his home in Sprague, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Thaggard; brothers, Robert and Jack Thaggard. He leaves behind his nephew, Scott Swindle; niece, Susan Swindle; daughter, Tabitha Hickman (Will); grandchildren, Parks, Collier, and Anne Collins; son, Thomas A. Thaggard (Mary); daughter, Laura Ross (John); granddaughters, Maddie and Mollie; cousin, Johnny Gardner; friend and former spouse, Mary Anne McDowell. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served honorably in the Army. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00PM at Greenwood Cemetery with a visitation being held an hour prior at Leak Memory Chapel. In lieu of flowers, make donations to St. Bede’s Catholic Church of Montgomery, AL and Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Montgomery, AL.
