Troy Joseph Maddox

Troy Maddox, 81, a resident of Montgomery, AL, went to heaven immediately after going to church on February 17, 2013. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 5:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL.

He was preceded in death by father, Willie Maddox, mother, Esther Hand Maddox, brother, Talmadge Maddox and twin brother, Travis Maddox.

He leaves behind his treasured family that he dearly loved, former spouse, Joann Maddox of Clinton, MS; former spouse, Marie Spurk of Crystal Springs, MS; daughter, Brenda Kitchens (Roy) of Pike Road, AL; five sons, Gary Maddox of Clinton, MS; Teddy (Karen) Maddox of Wetumpka, AL; Ronnie Maddox of Clinton, MS, Donnie Maddox of Montgomery, AL, Davie Maddox of Springhill, TN; grandchildren, Scott Kitchens, Shawn Kitchens, Katie Maddox, Payton Maddox and one brother, Harold (Laverne) Maddox of Katy, TX.

Troy Maddox was a creative entrepreneur who owned numerous businesses in MS and was an award-winning national sales leader for Woodmen of the World. He had the gift of giving, was a dramatic storyteller and a practical joker who loved to make others laugh.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you follow Troy Maddox's example of doing for and giving to others. Your sharing with the Maddox family of what was done in his memory will be made into a family treasure book.
