I was fortunate to have Truman as my Godfather. My parents were close to Joyce and Truman in Montgomery, and I always enjoyed their visits to
Thomas Avenue or dinners with Daddy  and Truman. Such a warm, distinguished and caring gentleman he was.

What a wonderful man!  I will miss our great lunches in linville and his wonderful sense of humor and great stories as well as his completely balanced demeanor.

My Condolences to the Hobbs Family. Judge Hobbs was a very decent and fair person and he will truly be missed as a Circuit Court Judge.

A great great man who had a profound influence on my life forever, both professionally and personally.  A great role model, mentor, advisor, like a father to me.  A clerkship with Judge Hobbs was an incomparable learning and growing experience on every level.  He will be deeply missed by all who ever had the honor of meeting him.  So much more to say.

certainly a credit to the bench in Montgomery for a lot of years, I remember when I applied to be a clerk for him, he wrote back "good grades." Not sure if I'd said what they were exactly but it was a nice thought. I like to think his honor is with his late son Dexter who died at 35. RIP.
