Vicky grew up in Auburn and later graduated from Troy State University, carrying forward a steady determination that shaped the life she built and the care she gave to others.
A nurse by calling and by character, she served patients in surgery and also worked as a travel nurse. Through long hours and demanding days, Vicky was known for the quiet strength of her work ethic and a giving spirit that placed the needs of others before her own.
In her personal life, Vicky enjoyed movies and eating out, finding simple pleasures in time well spent. She also dearly loved her dog. A true people person, she had an easy way with others and was known for getting along well with those around her—an enduring reflection of a life grounded in faith and lived with consideration for others.
Vicky is survived by her beloved husband of 20+ years, Bruce Goolsby; her sister, Tammy Baker; her sister in law, Kathy Chandler, and brother in law, Ken Goolsby as well as many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Farrow; her mother, Helen Farrow Jones; and her sister, Holly Farrow.
