Virginia Dorminey Clardy, age 90, a resident of Jackson Lake, Elmore County, Alabama, passed away on December 21, 2014. Mrs. Clardy was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Ella Dorminey, her husband, Leon Clardy and her son, Gene Clardy. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Massa (John) and Lynn Bright (Bobby). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Neal Bright (Lauren), Lisa Villacis (Mark), and Katie Bright, one great-granddaughter, Lainey Bright and other extended family members. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, at 3:30pm at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Jay Wolf officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service at Leak Memory. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Dorminey, Ralph Grant, Gene Jones, Bobby Rudder, and Jerry Wood.
