Mrs. Virginia P. Robinson Gunnin

Virginia Pearl Robinson Gunnin, 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cornelia Ward Robinson, her husband of 57 years Lester, and her daughter Susan. She is survived by her daughter Gina Lee (Nick) of Montgomery, AL; brother Curtis Robinson (Nell) of Portsmouth, VA; sisters Grace Wiseman of Suffolk, VA and Frances Copper of Wilmington, NC, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Prior to moving to Montgomery in 2010, she and Lester owned a successful real estate and appraisal businesses in Decatur, Alabama. She was also a long time member of Central Baptist Church. Visitation will be Leak Memory on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 4:30 pm until 6 pm. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg, AL with Dr. Rob Jackson officiating. Hamilton & Hackleburg Funeral Home directing.
