

ERTLEY, Wade E. Rev. age 67, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away April 7, 2011 after a couragous battle with Lung Cancer. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Leak-Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Dric Williford and Dr. John Mark Trent officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 10 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Mr Ertley retired from the Montgomery Board of Education after 19 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parent, Wilroy Mann and Eunice Betty Ertley and his first granddaughter Erin Brooke of Montgomery. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Julia Elizabeth (Judy) Ertley of Deatsville, Al., two sons; Wade Scott (Neshia) of Montgomery and Christopher Wayne of Newnan, Ga., eleven grandchildren, Madyson Elise, Kameryn Gayle, Hallie Marie, Brayden Scott, Logan Blaynel, Greyson Blayde, Hannah Elizabeth, Joshua Andrew, Mark Taylor, Jacob Ryker and Rebecca Marie all of Montgomery, two sisters; Pamela Jean Owenby (Doug), Huntsville, Al., and Candice Gail Lanier (Raymond), Elmore, Al., sister-in-law; Janet Geary (Tom), Montgomery, aunt; Grace Summerford, Montgomery, Al., two nieces, Leigh McMillan (Steve), Huntsville, Al., and Stephanie Steinger, one nephew, David Owenby (Gina), Catonsville, Md., and so many special friends too many to mention. Pallbearers: Graig Armstrong, Phil Beldsole, Mike Conway, Richard Duck, James Halan and Allen Owens. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Montgomery County Board of Education Maintenance Dept. The family would like to extend a special Thank You toDr. Donald Marshall for all the years of wonderful care and Dr. Barnes all of those involved with his care at Montgomery Cancer.
