Wallace Howard Wills, 66, passed away June 19, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Shirley Foster Wills, son Wallace Howard “Sonny” Wills, Jr., his granddaughter Townson Andress Wills and grandson Wallace Howard Wills, III. He is also survived by his brother Spencer (Gloria) Wills, his sister Marie Strickland, niece Meredith (Bill) Blythe, great niece Aubrey Genetski, great nephew Crawford Genetski, mother-in-law and father-in-law Betty and Willie Foster, Brother-in-law Randy Foster. Mr. Wills was preceded in death by his mother Edith Mae Orr Wills, his father John Spencer Wills Sr., and nephew John Spencer “Trey” Wills, III.
Howard was born in Montgomery, AL and graduated from Alabama Christian. He was a graduate of Huntington College and Jones School of Law. He was in banking for over 30 years, a proud master mason and veteran. Howard was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was a devoted and loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A visitation is set for Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel with a celebration of life service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. John Ross Massey officiating. Services will conclude with a burial at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 142 Ashmore Road, Honoraville, AL 36042. Pallbearers will consist of friends and family members. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church or Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, 962 Hwy 79 South, Eufaula, AL 36027.
