As several others have said, I met Wanda at Merchants National Bank many years ago. I left but our paths cross again when my son Clay and you, Marcus were both at Dauphin Way Methodist in their day care- you two became good friends for several years. Have often thoughts of sweet Wanda over the years- she was always such a happy person with a beautiful smile.  My deepest sympathy to her family...🙏🏻

What I know about Wanda Fussell is that she was a wonderful Mother. I only met her once on a trip with Ken, my husband, and Marc Fussell. How in the world we ended up at Wal Mart in Defuniak Springs at the same time I will never know. I do know she raised a son who is a wonderful person and friend. God will forever bless her and her family, I know. She left this world a better place.  My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Wanda will always hold a special place in my heart.  We had some great times at Merchant National Bank, skiing at lake - so many memories with her and Ronnie.  Every time we talked over the last few years - she was always positive, always wanting to make sure others were doing good.  She always talked about Ronnie, Marc, and Kyle and what a great support they all were to her.  What a lady - what a great friend,  I shall miss our phone calls.  I can still hear your giggle.  

I knew Wanda through the many wonderful comments of Gloria Jean Fussell about her precious sister-in-law, and had the privilege to personally get to know her when I came to see Gloria the day she passed. As I spent the day with her and Boggie, I got to deeply know her for myself. 

I am so sorry for your loss Ronnie, Marc, and Kyle. I’ll never forget the day I spent with her. It snowed a beautiful white first snow and when she heard me say as a Florida girl I’d never seen snow, she came into Gloria’s room to tell me, come quick, I have something to show you. I went outside with her and she said, isn’t God wonderful to give you a snow that sticketh, then explained what that meant. I will miss you, Wanda, but know you are with Gloria now, and she will show you around heaven. 

I will remember Wanda as kind, unflappable and brave. The world is a better place because she was in it.  My deepest condolences to Ronnie, Marc and Kyle. 

I met Wanda when she worked with my sister Danette at Regions Bank.  Her birthday was March 1st, 1954 and mine is March 31st, 1954.  My sister told me all about Wanda for years.  We met at a joint birthday party my sister held at her house.  Once facebook came along, communication was so much better.  Wanda was an inspiring interior decorator.  Sweetest person you could ever meet. Prayers, hugs and love to her dear family.

Wanda was a dear friend and coworker for a while. We had many fun, silly times together camping with Jan Cowart. She was loyal, kind, and ready to lend a hand for whatever was needed. I miss her already
