I loved Mr. Ballentine like he was my own family. I am sad that he has left this earth but I know that he is finally happy again- reunited with Mazel and Lisa. He will be truly missed.

Mr. Ballentine was a wonderful Christian person and we knew him because of his daughter Lisa and his lovely wife Mazel.

Eb was such a good man. He was so good to my mother Sarah Ballard. He has been part of our family for many years. He was loved and will be missed by all of us. God will bless him.

Dearest Eb,
My grandmother, "Granny", told me a long time ago that she loved two men in this world her entire life besides our good Lord Jesus Christ...one obviously, AD Ballard, whom she married and spent the majority of her life with, had three daughters and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren until he died and the other being you, Sir, whom we have had the honor of knowing, loving and sharing our lives with and sharing our mutual love of the awesome Auburn Tigers with for so many years now. My Granny's heart is broken once again as is mine as we let you go and fly with the Angels in Heaven. I can honestly say, I believe with all my heart that if it wasn't for your love, time, countless phone calls and visits and your generous, loving, kind, giving soul, our Granny probably wouldn't still be with us as long as she has and for all of this there are no words to thank you enough. You helped each other keep your spirits up, alive and going as long as the good Lord allowed it...but sadly, all good things must come to an end and my heart cries. We love you and will miss you more than words can express. I am happy you are no longer in pain, but we are selfish people and want you here. What comforts me most is knowing and imagining how incredibly happy you are being reunited with your daughter and wife and all of your other loved ones as you all are together again for eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ... pain, worry, and forever carefree. God bless you as you rest in peace and please ask the Lord to help comfort Granny as she let's you go from her loving arms into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.
