William F. Warr, 55, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 10, 2011. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 5:30 P.M. at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with Fr. Philip McKenna officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Oakwood Cemetery. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and attended Our Lady Queen of Mercy and Catholic High School. Mr. Warr was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Gorman Warr; father, Loyce W. “Bill” Warr, Jr.; and his best frind “Otis”. He is survived by four sisters; Catherine Lankford of Prattville, Ann Marie Curry of Montgomery, Elizabeth Y. Warr of Montgomery, Pamela F. Gilbert of Prattville; one brother, Michael Warr of Montgomery; three nieces, Jacqulyn Myles Lankford, Lindsay Curry, Sydney Parish; nephew, Dustin Gilbert; three aunts, Letta D. Gorman, Audrey Gorman, Amelia Gorman; and two uncles, John D. Gorman and James M. Gorman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA or PETA
