William Richard Dean

William R. (Billy) Dean, born June 30, 1935 went home to his Lord on Sunday November 4th. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday November 8th at 11:00 a.m. , at Forest Hills Memorial Park with Reverend Jeff Carlton officiating. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annette Dean and his Son, Ricky W. Dean. Also by three chosen precious Granddaughters, Niki Etheredge, Shelby Etheredge and Kayley Knighten. He is also survived by a brother, Bobby Dean (Ann), three sisters, Dorothy Deason (Hollis), Peggy McSwain, and Nancy Cutts (Wiley), brother and sister-in-law, Bubba Dykes (Barbara), sister and brother-in-law, Jean Price (Ronald) , two sisters-in-law, Jean Dean and Carolyn Dean, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also is survived by a dear and special family friend, Benj Hollis. He was a member and Deacon of Providence Presbyterian Church in the community of LeGrand, and also served as the Church Treasurer. Billy had a special way with family, friends and to anyone he met that endured them to him immediately. He especially loved and adored children.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Keith Thompson, Nurse Practitioner, Karlene Boozer, treatment room nurses, Kerry, Kerri, Brandi and the entire staff at the Montgomery Cancer Center for the loving care they provided to Billy. Also a special thank you to the 5th Floor Staff at Baptist South Hospital. The staff on that floor are definitely Angels who have just not been given their wings yet, Billy loved them and they loved him back and took such wonderful care of him. A special thanks to the Hospice Staff at Baptist Hospital who cared for him with so much love and care.
