William Sherman Goldman, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 16, 2025. Will was preceded in death by his grandparents, Col. John A. Walter, III and Alliene Wiggins Walter, and his grandmother, Lula Mae Revis Goldman. He is survived by his parents, William Sherman Goldman, Sr. (Kathy) and Marlou Walter Goldman, his brother, Walter Goldman, his sisters, Whitney Goldman and Laura Goldman Mielke (Nick), and his four nieces, Harper, Lilly, Wren, and Laura Kelly.
Will was a graduate of Calvary Christian Academy and later received his degree in Business Administration from AUM. Will’s love and devotion to his family and friends was exemplified by the kindness and compassion he bestowed on all, and that humanity shone through his sparkling blue eyes. Will also loved his time of military service in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he formed a lifelong bond with his fellow Marines.
A celebration of Will’s life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Grace Pointe Church (1565 Ray Thorington Rd., Montgomery, AL). Visitation will be at 1:30 pm in the church lobby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Montgomery Humane Society.
