
William Jackson Kelly of Montgomery, AL, passed away on October 28, 2016 at the age of 91. Jack Kelly was a native of Elmore County where he graduated from Holtville High School. He retired from Ralston Purina and Parks & Recreation of Montgomery, AL. In 2007 he was inducted into the Alabama Amateur Softball Hall of Fame. Jack was a dedicated member of Chisholm Baptist Church where he served as Church Moderator, Chairman of Deacons, Training Director, and Sunday School Teacher.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers, and 2 Sisters.
Jack Is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lois Bailey Kelly; children, Carey Kelly of Montgomery, AL, Lance (Joan) Kelly of Ramer, AL, and Russell (Barbara) Kelly of Wetumpka, AL; grandchildren, Amber (Craig) Espy, Peyton (Kayla) Kelly, Nathan Kelly, Marshall Kelly, Robin (Brannon) Carter, and Logan Lockett; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Mason Espy, and Hannah Faith Kelly; nephews; Billy (Ann) Jennings and Joe (Joanne) McFaden; and niece, Ann Kelly of Huntsville, AL.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016, from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Leak Memory with Bro. Lenny Bolton and Bro. Daniel Edmonds officiating. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers to include: Peyton Kelly, Nathan Kelly, Marshall Kelly, Craig Espy, Brannon Carter, and Logan Lockett. Honorary Pallbearers: Deacons of Chisholm Baptist Church, Ray Nobles, James Inman, Jimmy Cannon, Charles Rodgers, and Jim Kendrick.
