Willie Mae Clark

Willie Mae Clark, 87, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away at home on the morning of August 1, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at Perry Hill Rd. Baptist Church, 3909 Vista Circle, Montgomery. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel, and from 10-11 a.m. Friday morning at Perry Hill Rd. Baptist Church; with the service starting at 11. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark was born February 4, 1936, in Opp, Alabama, daughter of the late James Albert Grimes and the late Mary Lee Grimes of Phenix City, Alabama. After 57 years of marriage, her husband, Fred M. Clark preceded her in death in 2010. Mrs. Clark was employed as a secretary at Goodwyn Jr. High School for many years. She then went on to work with her husband and son at R & T Auto Sales from '88 to '98.

She is survived by four children, Berry Clark (Kim), Destin, FL; Debbie Carter (Dennis), Gainesville, FL; Ronnie Clark (Melissa) Lake Martin, AL; and Chris Clark (Vicki), Pike Road, AL; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, with 2 on the way; 1 great-great grandchild.one brother-in-law, Robert Clark (Shirlene), Ozark, AL; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Pallbearers will be grandsons Todd Clark, Jared Carter, Ryan Clark, Cody Clark, Drew Cunningham, and great grandson Austin Clark .
