Willodean Cox, 87, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on September 1, 2026. Born October 4, 1938, in Alabama, Willodean will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her. Her life was marked by a steady warmth and a gentle spirit—qualities that made others feel welcomed, valued, and cared for in her presence.

A Celebration of Life Chapel Service will follow at Leak Memory Chapel on September 4, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, 3001 Simmons Rd., Montgomery, AL 36108.
Willodean is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, William Cox; nephews Jim Hartin, Irvin Hartin, Brian Leagans, and Bill Leagans; and nieces Beverly McCoy, Latricia Gordon, and Samantha Stephenson.
